One of the Country’s largest automotive groups, the Burt Automotive Network, has become the first dealership in Colorado to offer the full-line of Xtreme Green Products vehicles, including the X Rider electric motorcycle, Xtreme Green electric motor scooters, and Sentinel police and campus mobility vehicle.
Xtreme Green Products, Inc. (XGP), an eco-vehicle company specializing in the development of electric and environmentally friendly land vehicles and personal watercraft, has announced today that the Burt Automotive Network has become the first authorized Xtreme Green Products dealer in Colorado.
The Burt Automotive Network was founded in 1939 and, today, operates eight dealerships in and around the Denver metropolitan area. In 2007, the Company had combined sales of $2.1 billion, generated from the sale of over 100,000 vehicles. It is the largest minority-owned and operated automotive dealer group in the United States.
“With the introduction of state tax credits for alternative fuel vehicles, the timing is perfect to bring the X Rider electric motorcycle to Colorado,” explained Neil Roth, President and Chief Operating Officer of Xtreme Green Products. “We look forward to working closely with the Burt Automotive Network to introduce the X Rider and the Sentinel throughout the State,” he added.
Designed as the ultimate zero-emission green commuter, the X Rider provides the power necessary to travel at highway speeds while maintaining operational efficiencies and reliability. Features of the X Rider include a proprietary power management system allowing added safety and battery life, a built in battery charger allowing the X Rider to fully charged in less than 3 hours, and a 4500 watt, 72 volt proprietary hub motor developed to maximize top speed and range.

X Rider electric motorcycles, Xtreme Green electric motors scooters, and Sentinel police and campus mobility vehicles will be available in Colorado as early as mid-June.
Xtreme Green Products, Inc., is an eco-vehicle company developing and manufacturing revolutionary, electric-powered land vehicles.
